From there I have developed multiple products created using bike inner tube's that I salvage from local bike shops. All Tubular Gear products are made by me in my home. I sell through several local shops, as well as participating in craft fair's, and here on Etsy.

Bike Mechanics
Maggie - @large_marge03 with 814 Outdoor Sports. Maggie is an ultra endurance cyclist, clinical dietitian, and part time mechanic. She learned how to wrench through the need to be self supported through long races and endurance endeavors. She is passionate about sharing the love of cycling with others.
Kayla - @klayng_a_layng with The Common Wheel. Perfect day on a bike: At a downhill park, zero climbing, and ends with a beer while sitting in a clear lake with 5-6 good lady friends.
Cycling world experience: She has been a member of the cycling world for 15 years. Started out commuting 40 miles a day motivated by dogs chasing her for 2 of those miles. Eventually leading to racing downhill in her early 20’s. Latest adventure was bikepacking in Scotland June 2023. She has been a professional bike mechanic for 4 years, unprofessionally 12 years. Currently working as a bike mechanic and Programs Manager for The Common Wheel in Lancaster, PA.
When she’s not on a bike: Kayla is a part-time comedy script writer. She is also likely seen with her dogs (Quill and Banjo) and her husband, Brian hiking. Or you’ll see her at a show in Philly. She could also more likely be seen eating a pint of icecream at a gas station after bonking on a bike ride.
Atessa - @uhtessuh with REI. Atessa started working in a local bike shop about 6 years ago with absolutely no previous knowledge of bikes. Somehow along the way she picked up a thing or two, and today she’s the service manager at the REI bike shop in Christiana, DE. Atessa loves the troubleshooting and problem solving of bike mechanics and is always ready to learn new things. Her favorite thing to do on a bike is long distance touring with her pals because it makes her feel so dang free. Her favorite non-bike related activity is playing games because she loves being competitive and silly with her pals. Although she has loved her time at REI, she will be leaving in September to work on her own business start-up, Philly Bike Oracle. PBO will be a touring planning, concierge, and route-planning service tailored to the greater Philadelphia area aiming to get more people on their bikes!!
Caitlin - @caitlin_spelled_right with Mojo Cycling. I have really been into bikes for the last 6 years. I love the freedom of movement and connection with people I've gained through them. I really like tech riding, but certainly can get into some flow. I started to work as a mechanic on my own bikes and then got into service departments in bike shops three years ago. I enjoy tinkering on bikes almost as much as I enjoy riding them. Its fun to know how things work and how they work together.
