Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at hello@rootedmtbfest.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

150 shredders from all over the country and Canada! 120 General Admission tickets and 30 BIPOC tickets will be available. Any unsold BIPOC tickets will be converted to GA on May 29th, 2025. There are also many volunteers, vendors, sponsors and speakers there to make your experience the best it can be.

You must be 16 years or older to attend the festival.  Ages 16 and 17 must have a guardian in attendance.

If you’d like to rent a bike, we recommend contacting Loud Performance (716-386-1171) ASAP to secure a bike or reach out to your local bike shop.  If you strike out with these options, send an email to hello@rootedmtbfest.com and we will see if we can help source a rental for you.

With the purchase of a weekend pass you receive complimentary parking and weekend camping thanks to Loud Performance. You are invited to come set up camp as early as 10 AM on Thursday July 24th.

Note: camping is primitive in an open field and along a tree line. There is plenty of room to bring extra easy up tents for your camping space and elaborate setups are welcome and the best one will possibly be rewarded. Camping is primitive, but the festival bathrooms are deluxe and will be available all weekend. Note: As we have grown, we also have multiple portapotties in the camping areas.

You may bring travel trailers, tents or sleep in your car/van. The festival grounds are a very safe place, but we recommend leaving valuables at home or locked up, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen goods. We ask that you tear down camp any time on Sunday the 27th.

You are welcome to bring a hammock to sleep in, but we do not have a specific area set up for that. It may not be easy to find the perfect spot, so make sure to have a backup option.

There are several hotels about 15-20 minutes away from the festival and plenty of airbnb options nearby. Head over to the private Rooted Facebook group to find housemates to share the expense!

Good question!  We will have water/hydration filling stations for the event with hydration sponsored by LMNT.  We suggest bringing as much water as you would normally bring for a weekend of camping and cooking, 3-5 gallons.

Yes, there will be a private outdoor shower available all weekend.

Rooted is for women and genderqueer femme folks (WTFNB).

Please leave pets, children and male counterparts at home. You are going to be having too much fun to give them the attention they need. We ask that you be fully present and enjoy this weekend with your friends to the fullest!

Yes!  There will be MTB skills clinics (skinnies, drops, jumping, technical climbing, cornering, intro classes and more!).   We can't forget our infamous nature ride with Adele!  All skills clinics come at an extra cost and ALL of that money goes directly to the coaches.  The clinics can range from $10-$150 each.  We have certified coaches levels 1-3 to help you achieve your goals.

In the bike mechanics tent you will find an awesome team of women there to provide clinics on maintenance, cleaning your bikes, trailside fixes, cross country bike vs downhill bike and more, all free to you! All coaches providing their time for the weekend are super stoked to empower you all with their knowledge and skill sets! You can purchase a suspension clinic or pay to have your bike set up perfectly for you.

April 17th at 10am EST!

The event ticket is $100.  That gets you loads of fun (group rides, yoga, certain clinics and camping).  Things that will be an additional cost, should you want to partake: food trucks,  vendor shopping, and skills clinics.

Yes, there will be food trucks throughout the weekend and WNYMBA will be cooking up breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Happy hour drinks (beer + wine) on Saturday night  will be provided at no charge to you thanks to the generous support of Mazza Wineries.

Our Happy AF (alcohol free) Hour on Friday night will also be included in your weekend pass.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and beverages for the weekend.

This is a non-refundable ticket. You may transfer your ticket on BikeReg to another person until July 10th, as long as there are people on the waitlist.

This is a rain or shine event. We are able to still have a great event no matter the weather!
